Dr Jo Blewett is a Principal Engineer within the Major Transport Infrastructure Projects directorate in Transport Scotland. She is a Chartered Civil Engineer and a graduate of Heriot-Watt University.
She also holds a PhD in Geotechnical Engineering from Heriot-Watt University. She has 16 years experience in
Research, Consultancy, and Central Government.
Jo is a Project Manager and is responsible for the design stage of trunk road projects and studies in various parts of Scotland with estimated costs between £3 million and £200 million. These include M8 Baillieston to Newhouse, M74 Raith Junction, M8/M73/M74 Network Improvements, A9 Dualling Luncarty to Birnam, A9 Kincraig to Dalraddy WS2+1 and A9 Crubenmore Dualling.
